River Bend Nature Center Happenings in September

Some upcoming events at River Bend Nature Center of Faribault include a hands-on archery class on Wednesday, September 7, from 1-3PM. Adults and seniors are invited to try their hand. River Bend staff will teach attendees the basics of shooting a bow and arrow using a hands-on approach. All archery equipment will be provided and there will be games to play to practice your newly learned skills.

Tuesday, September 12, from 4-5PM you're invited to join the Rain Garden Care Crew. Maintenance will be performed on River Bend's rain garden. It's an opportunity to learn about native plants, remove invasive plants and learn about rain gardens. It's free to attend.

Saturday, September 10, marks the date for the River Bend Ramble at the Faribault American Legion Post 43. Social hour and silent auctions begin at 5:30PM with the dinner to follow at 6:30PM and then the annual meeting and program at 7PM. The Wall of Wine and Wall of Beer drawings will take place at 8PM. The silent auction will close between 8:30 and 9PM.
