Minnesota U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar stopped by the Faribault Woolen Mill Store on Friday to discuss manufacturing. It was a day of tours for the senior senator from the Gopher State.

Earlier in the day, she met with Mayo Clinic leaders in Rochester to discuss innovations and research. Klobuchar got a tour of the Mayo Clinic Biobank, a facility that studies blood and blood derivatives for research. The Biobank doesn't study any disease in particular, but it collects samples and health information from patients, regardless of health history.

Klobuchar then stopped by the Faribault Woolen Mill on her way back to the Twin Cities and visited with CFO Paul Mooty. Klobuchar is scheduled to join us Monday morning during the KDHL 7:05 a.m. report to discuss more about her visit to the manufacturer of blankets and other wool items for distribution around the world. Pictured below is the senator at the Faribault Woolen Mill with Mooty.
