Update: Southern Minnesota Weather Clear For Now

A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect until 8:15PM for south-central Carver, east-central Sibley and southwestern Scott counties. At 7:16PM, a severe thunderstorm was near Belle Plaine, and 33 miles west of Northfield, moving to the east at 15 mph. No warnings are currently in effect for the area.

Arlington, Minnesota, had enough hail that it looked like snow fell.

Half-dollar size hail has been reported by trained weather spotters.

The National Weather Service says storms are possible each day through Monday. Any storm could potentially become severe. Keep an eye on the sky and stay tuned in.
