So Far Fish Are Winning Faribault Fishing Trip

Thirty-four people are on the Winter Walleye Connection trip to Ballard's Resort on Lake of the Woods. We had a great trip so far, the food has been great and the folks at Ballard's are doing a great job. So far after day one, the fish are winning as not many fish have been caught among our group. But we are expecting to try new locations on Tuesday.

We are currently fishing on about 15 inches of ice and in 20-30 feet of water.

A lot of discussion has been about the weather and impending snow storm, and whether we are going to get home OK. As of right now all should be OK. And the people from Windstar Lines always do a great job. Hopefully I'll have some more pictures and some pictures with fish after Tuesday.
