The Triton Cobras dedicated their new turf field on a soggy night in Dodge Center tonight. A night that showed why it was good to have a artificial turf surface.  It rained sheets before and during the contest and if the old grass would've still been in place the quagmire field would've been ruined for the season.  The rain didn't stop the speedy Komets nor could the Cobras in a 30-6 Kasson-Mantorville win.  Three long touchdown runs in the first half and a 43 year field goal led the Komets to a 24-0 halftime lead.  they added another score on their second series of the second half on a long pass.  Triton's only score came in the 4th quarter when they decided to go with more of a  power attack.  Wally Hitt Field looks great with artificial turf.  Here are some other scores from Thursday night in high school  MSAD  20  W.Lutheran 14,     Owatonna 14 Winona 6,  Mankato West 74 Albert Lea 14,  Lakeville North 39 Hopkins  13,  Wayzata 55 Farmington 7, Rosemount 41 Eastview 6,  Hudson, Wi. 36 Chanhassen 0,  Chaska 27 Forest Lake 0,  Park Center 42 Bloomington Kennedy 7,  Hastings 38 Tartan 27, Cleveland 27 Westbrook-Walnut Grove 20, JWP 12 USC 7, Apple Valley 21 Shakopee 7.
