Two outdoor worship services will open day six of the Steele County Free Fair in Owatonna. The first service is a traditional one at 9:30AM at the Village of Yesteryear with Pastor Brian Wright of Cornerstone Church scheduled to deliver the message. Connie Ruth will talk of her faith and music will be provided by Erin and Matt Terres.

A contemporary service will be held at 11AM in Fair Square Park with Pastor Amanda Weinkauf of Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna delivering the message. Musicians from Trinity will do the music.

Other Sunday nuggets to enjoy at Minnesota's biggest county fair include the draft horse show at 9AM. The midway features a nine-hour ride special for $22. The duo American Pie plays hits from the '50s through '70s at 12:30PM on the Fair Square stage.

The Dan Stursa Band performs a marathon-like set from 1-5PM in the beer garden. There's a square dance demonstration at 1PM at the KRFO stage. The amateur talent show begins at 2PM on the UPB stage at Fair Square. Human cannonball David Smith Jr flies over the midway at 2:30PM and 6:30PM.

A demolition derby takes place in front of the grandstand at 4PM. The Stix of Fury drum corps from Blooming Prairie play the Fair Square stage at 4:30PM, followed by the United Way kickoff.

Speaking of kickoffs, the Owatonna High School football player and cheerleader rally is at 8:30PM on the United Prairie Bank stage.

Exhibit buildings close at 8PM and the midway closes at 9:30PM or earlier.
