Steele County Free Fair Executive Secretary Jim Gleason will be joining us on KDHL at 10:30 this morning to give us a preview of this year's event, which begins tomorrow in Owatonna.

The theme this year is, "Scream and Moo With Much To Do in 2017."

Mega Ride ticket sales close at 5PM Tuesday at Hy-Vee across from the fairgrounds.

This year's fair features three free act stages with more than 60 acts throughout the week beginning tomorrow and running through Sunday.

The Human Cannonball Dave Smith Jr. is back to turn up your adrenaline.

Thursday is Senior Day, with free parking from 8AM to noon for those 65 and older.

Gold Star Amusements operates their carnival on the massive Steele County Free Fair grounds in Owatonna. Gandy's Old Iron Show is featured on the east end of the fairgrounds. The Wells Fargo Auto Museum this year has vehicles from the 1960s.  Hours will be 3-10PM Tuesday, Wednesday through Saturday 11AM to 10PM, and Sunday from 11AM to 8PM. These are just a few of the highlights.
