Growing up, one of the coolest actors I remember was Steve McQueen. His anti-hero persona helped make him a top box-office draw during the sixties and seventies. He grabbed an Academy Award nomination for his role in The Sand Pebbles.  My personal favorites are The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, Papillon and of course, Bullitt.
