Every summer, owners polish up and roll their cars into downtown Faribault for the monthly Faribault Main Street Car Cruise. I've had the chance to go and take it in a few times, including the most recent, and final Car Cruise of the summer last Friday, and I am always amazed at the variety and beauty of vehicles on display!

I've talked about my car before, and it is certainly old at the age of 18, and it has "character" that is one of a kind, but the terms classic and collectable would be a giant leap of the imagination to be sure! Last Friday was a day of amazing weather, so I opted to leave my car at home (I'd hate to be clamored with people asking to purchase such a fine example of a vehicle! tehe! ) and stroll downtown to enjoy the car cruise. Whether you are into muscle cars, custom restorations, old trucks, motorcycles, Model A's, fun details, hood ornaments, tuners, or special interest, there is something for everyone. I am by no means a car expert, but I love checking out the variety and taking a step back in time! There was a good crowd, Power 96 was on hand playing music, and it was a perfect evening spent taking in classic vehicles and historic downtown Faribault! Last Friday was the final Car Cruise for this summer, but next year brings the promise of 4 more. Will you be attending?
