Faribault Main Street

Summer is coming, the weather is warming up, and I've started seeing people slowly pull their pride and joy vehicles out of the garage and onto the roads. Around here, that means the Faribault Main Street Car Cruise Nights are just around the corner!

Each winter in downtown Faribault, the street corners are decorated, the lights are strung and beautiful displays are created in the shop windows!

I'm not originally from Faribault. When I first arrived, I knew little of the area, but people were quick to educate me on the many high points of the community. One of the claims to fame is that Faribault is home to the Tilt A Whirl. Anyone who has ever been to a fair has seen or taken a ride on one, and around Faribault, you're almost guaranteed to know someone who spent part of their life build

Every summer, owners polish up and roll their cars into downtown Faribault for the monthly Faribault Main Street Car Cruise. I've had the chance to go and take it in a few times, including the most recent, and final Car Cruise of the summer last Friday, and I am always amazed at the variety and beauty of vehicles on display!

Downtown Faribault has gone crazy! That's right, it's Crazy Days and there are a lot of amazing deals to be had, plus family fun! Over 30 businesses are participating, making it a great time to get out and do some shopping in Faribault!
