Thanksgiving is only a few days away and anyone with a dog knows that their furry friend will be begging for food all day. It all smells great, I don't blame them! And while you might give in every once in a while to give your pup a little scrap here and there, there are some foods that you definitely need to avoid giving your dog.

This list is thanks to KARE 11's Facebook post (which I'll put at the bottom of this post).

Here are the food items you definitely should not feed your dog this Thanksgiving (or else they'll get sick!):

bread dough

turkey skin and bones

corn on the cob

turkey twine

gravy and trimmings

garlic

onions

chocolate

grapes

raisins

So keep this list handy and make sure you and your pet have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
