Can you believe it? The Faribault Heritage Days Celebration get's underway tonight with opening ceremonies, followed by a Flag Day ceremony in Central Park tonight at 6:30PM. This annual event runs through Sunday with a Classic Car Show in Tee Pee Tonka Park as the event that wraps it all up from 9AM to 3PM.

After tonight's official ceremonies the fun begins with Youth Night Karaoke plus Inflatables and something called Gaga Ball. I'm not sure what that is but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with Lady Gaga. I guess I'll have to go down there and see for myself. By the looks of their event flyer, the carnival rides don't startup until tomorrow. I strolled through the park earlier this afternoon and it looked like they were pretty close to having them all ready to ride. There were also several concession stands and booths to score some delicious eats, so save some room to enjoy those treats.
