River Bend Nature Center Wants Hunters to Help Thin the Herd

It's been a long time since I went deer hunting with my dad and uncle. I sort of lost interest after sitting in a stand year after year and never getting anything. Although I might have to put most of that on the fact that I'm very restless and don't like to stay in one area very long. Pheasant hunting was always more my thing, especially if we had my uncle's dog to retrieve the birds.

If you enjoy deer hunting with a bow and would like to help thin out the deer at the River Bend Nature Center, I've got just the hunt for you. They're taking applications for this fall's deer management hunt, which will be taking place Tuesday, November 1, through Monday, November 14. By the way, you have to be a member of the River Bend Nature Center in order to have your application considered for participation in this hunt.
