Join Power 96 and be a part of the ninth annual Ride 2016 hosted by 1st United Bank of Faribault on Saturday, August 13, at Faribault Harley-Davidson. This benefit helps raise money for area hospice programs and services, Faribault Area Senior Citizens Center, the Hope Center and the United Faribault Foundation. I’ll be out there broadcasting live starting at 8:30AM and blasting that great classic rock of Power 96.

This 100-mile ride is open to all makes and models of bikes along with vintage and custom vehicles. Stop by and enjoy a hot breakfast before you take off. Registration starts at 8:30AM with the cars leaving at 10AM and the bikes all leaving at 10:30AM. In the past, the rides have left every half hour, but because this year's ride covers a lot of ground, it was decided to just have one big ride. You still have the option of a self-guided ride but if you like riding with a pack the 10:30 ride is perfect.

Once the riders return, there will be an after party where you'll be entertained by live music from Lo Rumble II. There will also be food, prizes and a raffle drawing including cash prizes of $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 or a six-day, five-night getaway to Summer Bay Resort in Orlando and more. Buy your raffle tickets at 1st United Bank, Faribault Harley-Davidson, Faribault Senior Center, the Hope Center, Fashions on Central and they''ll be available at the event.

The weather is suppose to be mostly sunny and 79 the day of the Ride, as of this writing, so shine up the chrome and we'll see you there!
