The Northfield Raiders and Mankato East/Loyola Cougars were in the latest Let's Play Hockey Class A Minnesota High School boys hockey rankings Wednesday.  The Big Nine Conference Champion Rochester Century Panthers were not in the Class 2A top 20 despite a 20 win season.

The Panthers are 20-3 heading into the playoffs and finished the Big 9 year 14-1.  Their only Conference loss came against Albert Lea 6-1 on January 26th.  Games against Farmington and White Bear Lake Area were weathered out and unable to be rescheduled.

Rochester Century begins the Section One Class 2A hockey tournament Thursday when they host the Owatonna Huskies.  The Huskies and Rochester Mayo finished with identical conference records of 11-4-1 but the standings are determined by points and Owatonna had 35 points and Mayo 32 points so the Huskies finished second in the Big 9.  Mayo had an overall record of 17-6-2 and Owatonna finished the regular season 15-9-1.

The two regular season meetings were one point wins for the Panthers.  Below are the Let's Play Hockey Minnesota boys high school rankings.  First Class 2A.
