It was not an easy task on Thursday night, but the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneer volleyball team defeated St. Clair in four sets. St. Clair won the first one 26-24. Then the Buccaneers came back 25-18, 25-14, 25-18. St. Clair ends their season with a record of 24-8. Kamryn Kendall had 20 kills and 18 digs. Kate Masberg had 16 digs, 18 kills and five ace serves. Morgan Jindra had 42 of the team's 56 assists on the night. Coach Crystal Lamont said afterward that she was very proud of all of "her girls." She also said that it takes all 14 on the team, not just the ones on the floor, to get the job done.

The Buccaneers will now face Mayer Lutheran, which is 21-10 on the year, at Minnesota State Mankato at 6PM Saturday. Coverage will start on KDHL 920 about 5:45PM.
