Weekend Roundup April 29-May 1

After a gloomy week, the sun is now shining and the weekend is here? Coincidence? I think not. Even Mother Nature is ready for the weekend and providing optimal weather for you to get outside and make the most of it. There are plenty of things to do this weekend in out area!

• On Saturday, the Benson Family Singers will be performing at 4PM at the River Valley Church to benefit Pregnancy Options Life Care Center.
• Saturday night all are invited to the Cambodian New Year Celebration at the Faribault Knights of Columbus Hall starting at 7PM.
• Saturday from 4-8PM is a cancer benefit for Faribault resident Troy Murphy at the Austin Eagle's Club.
• Start your Sunday with the Walk MS at Shattuck St. Mary's with a handicap accessible and a scenic 5K route. Power 96 will be broadcasting live from the walk to end multiple sclerosis event.
• Sunday evening at 5:30PM is the Raise the Roof dinner and auction for the Rice County Habitat for Humanity at the Faribault American Legion with live music. For more information, call 507-744-2933
