We have a brief reprieve from the rain that seems to have been dampening, literally and figuratively, many of our weekends and outdoor fun as of late. With the rains holding off, and Friday afternoon here, that means its time to switch into weekend mode and find some fun. Luckily, there is no shortage of great things to do in our area this weekend!

  • Friday night from 6-9PM is the final Faribault Main Street Car Cruise of the season and they are ending strong by including a car club showdown with five teams expected to compete!
  • Saturday morning, take a stroll through Central Park and check out all of the great items available at the Faribault Farmers Market.
  • Join Kelly at the brand new Shoe Sensation at the Faribo West Mall from 12-2PM on Saturday, and then head to Boost Mobile at the corner of Highway 60 and 21 where Mike is hanging out from 2-4PM.
  • Make sure you stop into Buckham Memorial Library and check out the "When Home Won't Let You Stay" exhibit between now and September 8.
  • The annual Shooters Roundup takes place this weekend in Morristown, with live bands, a gun fight, vendors and more.
  • Spend Saturday evening enjoying a free movie at the Owatonna Degner airport.
  • The Just for the Hope of It bike run takes place beginning at 9AM at Signature Bar and Grill in Faribault on Sunday.
  • Sunday night are auditions for "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" at the Paradise Center for the Arts from 6-9PM.
