This week seemed to go by pretty quickly, and the weather has been amazing. Sunny and 70? I'll take it! The weekend is just a few hours away, and there is no shortage of things to do in the area!

  • Love, Loss and What I Wore, a play by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, will be playing Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM at the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault. For more information, go to paradisecenterforthearts.org.
  • The Adventures of Tom Sawyer will be performed by the Waseca Drama Department on Friday at 7PM, and Sunday at 2PM. Cost is $6 for adults.
  • Happy Days, a new musical, will be showing at the Faribault High School Michael J. Hanson Performing Arts Center on Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM and Sunday at 2PM. For tickets and more information, call (507) 333-6109.
  • Bowl for Kids' Sake will be Friday from 5-8PM at J&J Bowling Center in Faribault, and at Sparetime Entertainment in Owatonna from 10-2 on Saturday. Both events will have food, prizes and the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders. For more information, go to BBBSofSouthernMN.org.
  • Bid on Cakes during the annual Young Life Cake Auction at the Owatonna High School on Saturday. There are more than 100 cakes with special items like Twins tickets and vacations up for bids. Doors open at 10AM, live auction starts at 11AM.
  • Faith Lutheran of Dodge Center is hosting a Dad's Belgian Waffle breakfast on Sunday from 9-1. The cost is $7 for adults.
  • The Czech Concertina Band will be playing at the West Concord Historical Society on Sunday from 2-5PM. Admission is a donation at the door.
