Weekend Roundup for Faribault Area May 8-10

You've worked hard all week and now you're ready for the weekend! Looking for some ideas on how to spend the fleeting moments? There are plenty of things going on in the Faribault area!

• Friday at 5PM catch a gallery opening at the Paradise Center for the Arts, then stick around for Norah Long and the Imaginators at 7:30PM, a show the whole family can enjoy. You can also see Norah Long on Saturday at 2PM.
• The early bird gets the worm, and when you rise early and head to the Nerstrand Big Woods at 8AM, you can watch a free bird banding demonstration.
• Find unique items at the Spring Flea Market at the Rice County Historical Society in Faribault. The event runs from 8AM to 2PM. For more information, call (507) 332-2121.
• On Sunday, enjoy music at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Savior at 3PM. There will be a donation benefiting the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra.
