Weekend Roundup March 4-6

Hard to believe it is already March! Here in the north we know not to trust that first beautiful day and we wait to put away our jackets and boots because Old Man Winter likes to take his sweet time saying goodbye and pops in again just when we think the coast is clear. Last weekend we were spoiled with some pretty warm and sunny days, during the week we had lower temperatures, today we had snow, and again this weekend is forecast to be sunny and warm. At least the nice weather falls over the weekend so we can all enjoy it! Something else to enjoy is the assortment of fun events in the Faribault area this weekend!

• The Ellendale Fire Department will host a Fish Fry on Friday from 5-7PM
• Friday from 5-7PM is an All Area School Student Exhibition at the Paradise Center for the Arts.
• Start off your Saturday morning with a hike! The Faribault Flyers, Bike, Hike and Ski Club are having community hikes at 9:15AM each Saturday in February and March. Meet at Bernie’s Grill parking lot or email Fboflyers@gmail.com for more information.
  
• The Faribault Ice Arena hosts open skate on Saturday from 12:30-3:30PM
• The Hometown Sampler concert benefiting the Steele County Food Shelf will be Friday at 7PM, Saturday at 3PM and 7PM, and Sunday at 1:30PM
• The Paradise Center for the Arts hosts The Crown Jewels A Tribute to Queen on Saturday night.
• Faribault Wresting Hosts their annual Breakfast Sunday morning at the Eagles Club.
