Since 2012, Wells Fargo has gifted more than 300 homes to veterans nationwide. Today a veteran who has received the Purple Heart got a new home in Farmington.

Reid Erickson left the army in 2014 as a first sergeant. He had given 10 years of his life to the service and was deployed during Operation Enduring Freedom and was wounded during that deployment.

Erickson grew up in Lakeville, so this was a good thing for him to get this home in Farmington. Martin Sundquist of Wells Fargo, according to KSTP, thanked Erickson for his service and congratulated him on the new home.

Ercikson was happy to be able to have his family all under one roof. Even though he misses being in the service, he his looking forward to this new chapter in his life.
