In my wild and crazy days I thought nothing of hanging out somewhere with friends or at someone's house having a blast  and then getting in the car and going home.  As I became a little more mature and a parent I realized it was time to stop the practice of "having fun" and then driving. For the last few years I have had a great time hanging out with some good neighbor friends, we eat finger foods all night, play games have a toast at midnight then since I usually have to work a church service on New Year's morning, we get together for a little champagne brunch. And if there are any others there, not able to drive we make sure they don't.  I have lost friends in the past I don't want to lose any friends or listeners from something that can be prevented. Have fun, be safe my friends. Happy New Year!

John
