Winter is slowly but surely creeping up on us, and the dusting of snow we just got confirms that! I'm definitely not looking forward to the mass amounts of snow we're bound to get at some point, though. Some of us down here in Southern Minnesota are bound to get a good amount of snow because guess what, there are quite a few Southern Minnesota cities that have been dubbed as some of the snowiest in the entire state, including Faribault. Great...

Here are the rankings, according to Only in Your State, for the snowiest cities in Minnesota (snowfall amounts are averages):

Redwood Falls - 35.5 inches

Albert Lea - 37.8 inches

Mankato - 38.6 inches

Grand Marais - 42.1 inches

Alexandria - 42.3 inches

Faribault - 42.6 inches

Detroit Lakes - 44.8 inches

St. Cloud - 46.1 inches

Brainerd - 46.8 inches

St. Paul - 50.6 inches

Rochester - 51.9 inches

Minneapolis - 54 inches

Two Harbors - 56.2 inches

Moorhead - 57.9 inches

International Falls - 71 inches

Duluth - 86.1 inches

I don't know that anyone is shocked that Duluth is the snowiest city in the entire state, because I'm definitely not! But I'm not super excited for all of the snow Faribault is going to get.
