I remember back in the mid- to late '90s there was a live wrestling show on TNT called Monday Nitro, which was a production of the now defunct WCW or World Championship Wrestling. My oldest daughter, who at the the time was just in her pre-teen years, really enjoyed watching this show. I would sit and watch it with her at times, recalling my years watching wrestling at my grandparents house when I was a young boy. At one point during her fascination with professional wrestling, I was lucky enough to get a pair of tickets to one of the Monday Nitro events in the Twin Cites and took my daughter. She was so happy I thought she would burst. We had a fun time and it was cool to see what went on behind the scenes when they would cut away for commercials during the show. WCW Monday Nitro's main competition on Monday night was the World Wrestling Federation's Monday Night Raw. The WWF eventually purchased and absorbed the WCW and morphed over the years into World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., or simply WWE.

What's this all leading to you might ask? Well this week I have tickets to Monday night's performance of Monday Night RAW at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis. The line-up includes Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, United States Champion Rusev, Chris Jericho and many more. If you have someone in your life who loves professional wrestling, you owe it to them and yourself to check out the Power 96 Morning Show between 6-9AM the rest of this week to try to win your pair of tickets to the show.
