On Monday, July 16th, Northfield is going to BUSY!

Over 500 bicyclists and about 100 support staff will be stopping in Northfield on the first stretch of their 5-day, 280-mile bike ride across central Minnesota to raise awareness and money for MS (Multiple Sclerosis). It's called Bike MS: Ride Across Minnesota (formerly known as TRAM).

Northfield is their first stop of the ride and they will be arriving between 11 AM and 3 PM. They will be staying at designated campground areas or one of the seven lodging properties. There is also going to be different resources for riders at Bridgewater Elementary like phone charging stations, a shower truck, and an info booth.

There will be a shuttle provided to give riders the chance to go into Downtown Northfield so they can learn more about the town's history.

During last year's ride, they raised over $640,000 to help fund critical services and research for MS!

You can learn more about this event at the National MS Society website!
