Winter Storm Warning For Tuesday

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 9AM Tuesday until 6AM Wednesday. A Blizzard Warning is in effect for Owatonna and other areas. Snowfall accumulations of 6-11 inches are expected south of a line from Redwood Falls to Minneapolis to Cumberland, Wisconsin, on Tuesday and Tuesday night. The snow will combine with brisk winds and reduce visibility and create travel problems.

• Expect snow to develop around 9AM Tuesday and then diminish around 6AM Wednesday.
• The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between noon and 6PM Tuesday.
• Total accumulations of 5-9 inches are expected.
• Look for significant reductions in visibility and plan for difficult driving conditions.
