Winter Weather Advisory Until 6AM Wednesday for Southern Minnesota
The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities/Chanhassen has issued a winter weather advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain until 6AM Wednesday.
- Expect a round of wintry mix or snow this morning followed by a break during the late morning and early afternoon. More precipitation, mainly in the form of snow is expected to develop later this afternoon and then diminish tomorrow morning.
- The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 6PM through midnight.
- A glaze of ice is possible along with wet snow accumulations of 1-3 inches
