The Paradise Community Theatre is performing the Woody Allen play Don't Drink the Water.

They opened last weekend and conclude this Saturday. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 7:30PM.

This Woody Allen play premiered on Broadway on Nov. 17, 1966, and had 598 performances at three Broadway theaters.

This is a comedy, and we can all use more laughter in our lives.

The Paradise description of the production follows.

"The play takes place inside an American embassy behind the Iron Curtain. An American tourist, a caterer by trade, and his wife and daughter rush into the embassy just ahead of the police who suspect them of spying and picture taking. It's not much of a refuge, for the ambassador is absent and his son, now in charge, has been expelled from a dozen countries and the continent of Africa. They carefully and frantically plot their escape and the ambassador's son and the caterer's daughter even have time to fall in love.

I hope you can tune in at 9:30AM. If not, head to kdhlradio.com and click on the AM Minnesota tab and watch and listen to shows or go directly to the KDHL YouTube channel.
