10 Most Beautiful Restaurants in Minnesota – One is in Southern Minnesota!
Minnesota has some pretty well known restaurants. Two that I think of right off the top of my head include Matt's Bar in Minneapolis, home of the original Juicy Lucy, and Mickey's Diner in St. Paul.
But what about the most beautiful restaurants in Minnesota?
What makes them the most beautiful? According to Only in Your State, the amazing surroundings, the gorgeous interior, and delicious food are the three items taken into account. One of the 10 is actually close by in Rochester!

Pickwick Restaurant and Pub - Duluth
This landmark has been around since 1914! They are known for their homemade soups and award-winning, char-grilled steaks. The Pickwick technically opened in 1888 but operated as the Old Saloon under Fitger's Brewery and then started independent operation in 1914. The restaurant has tons of European-style woodwork and furniture as a hat tip to Duluth's immigrants. Check out their website here.
The Classic Grill at Madden's - Brainerd
Situated on Gull Lake, this restaurant has a beautiful view! Their menu is locally-inspired and features a full lounge area. The Classic Grill is a part of a restort called Madden's on Gull Lake. Anton's Restaurant - Waite Park
A family owned restaurant along the Sauk River. This restaurant is an authentic log cabin and the menu features steaks, seafood, ribs, and popovers. Anton's started back in the 1920's as Bricky's, which was a speakeasy during prohibition and this history and it's interesting stories is what gives Anton's it's atmosphere today! Terza - Rochester
A beautiful restaurant near us in Southern Minnesota, in Rochester! Terza focuses on the bountiful flavors of Italy and "was created in the spirit of Dell' Anima which means 'soul of the pasta.'" All of the recipes are created in house and they are "committed to Organic Glen plum tomatoes, sustainable Norwegian salmon, fresh fish and wild caught calamari." Check out their website here.
Justine's at the Gunflint Lodge - Grand Marais
Justine's is also a part of a resort, a destination for families, honeymooners, and fishers alike. Up in Northern Minnesota and nestled on Gunflint Lake the scenery is beautiful! JJ Astor Restaurant & Lounge - Duluth
This restaurant is on the 16th floor of the Raddison hotel in Duluth and it ROTATES. You get an amazing full 360 degree view of downtown Duluth and Lake Superior while dining in comfy armchairs. Murray's - Minneapolis
A steakhouse that has been around since 1946, this restaurant is a classic. You can stop by for a classic cocktail crafted with local spirits or order one of their nationally renowned steaks. Bar Harbor Supper Club - Nisswa
Bar Harbor actually started back in 1937 and most of their revenue was originally made through liquor and gambling. The gambling came to an end around 1948 and the owner, Erv Anderson, finally added a kitchen and expanded the dance floor. Years later there was a huge fire which required the entire restaurant to be restructured. Today, Bar Harbor focuses on high quality foods and service on beautiful Gull Lake.
Bluefin Grille - Tofte
Yet another restaurant on this list that is a part of a resort along the North Shore of Lake Superior! This restaurant took full advantage of the beautiful area they are located and they have large windows so you can look our at Lake Superior while you eat. Another Italian inspired restaurant, Acqua is located on the north side of Forest Lake. Their menu features the highest quality local ingredients.
