9-16″ of New Snow From 2 Storms Next 72 Hours
Well the weather this week has been less than desirable, and it's only going to get worse for our commutes. The National Weather Service is predicting anywhere from 6-12" of snow by Sunday morning and the first dose of snow happens later tonight. Residents in Faribault and Owatonna will be waking up to 3-4" of fresh snow in the morning, and then Saturday night the possibility of another 6-12".
We will be in a winter weather advisory in our area this afternoon 4pm through 6am tomorrow morning.
The good news about all of this, the snow might not be here for long as a warm up into the mid 30's is expected next week. But prepare for slow going on our area roads and the interstate over the next 3 days.
As always stay up to date with closings and delays here!
