A city of Faribault pizza institution is coming back to downtown! Basilleo's recently announced on Facebook that it was coming back! It was tough news for the community to bear when the pizza, pasta, and salad serving restaurant closed. The post to Facebook indicated the same recipes were also on their way back!

The pizza place will still be located at 108 4th St NW.

The previous owner Jeff Westad said at the time of it's closing that "it cannot compete with the cheaper pizza chains." Basilleo's put out a quality, fresh ingredient pizza that cost consumers around $15 to $20 per pizza.

Basilleo's was formed when Brothers Basil and Leo Burger opened the business in 1960. Their first names were combined to form the pizzeria’s name.
