A Wisconsin Town Named Spread Eagle Has A Strip Club, And They’re Hiring
You seriously can't make this stuff up. There's a town in Wisconsin that's called Spread Eagle. I saw it recently on a list of lewdest town names from Thrillist.
I was doing some google maps street views to check out this place when I saw a pin on the map that says "exotic dancers."
I thought that it has to be a joke, but I looked them up and found that the business is legitimate and still there.
The town got its name because the nearby lake looks like an eagle spreading its wings. But, I suppose if you wanted some free marketing, this town would be perfect to set up a strip club. I wonder what Lakeview Party Mart thought when they moved in.
The Gentleman's club is called the Gold Nugget. It's located at 4550 Carpenter Road in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin, which is close to the U.P. border.
The strip club has been in operation since 1989, according to its Facebook page. They've been busy this spring too. They just had oil wrestling this last weekend.
The Gold Nugget is also hiring dancers. Maybe the pandemic has you interested in a new career. According to the Facebook page, they offer base pay and even have a place for you to stay. If it's your time to shine, you better hurry as their June dancer lineup fills up.
I have to reach out to the owner and find more out about this. I'll post an update when I can hear more of the story of how this business came to be in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin.
