St Paul (KROC AM News) - A Maplewood man has been added to the growing list of Minnesota motorcyclists who have been killed in accidents this year.

The latest deadly wreck happened on a busy Twin Cities highway during the late afternoon rush hour.

The State Patrol report says 33-year-old Ahmed Safwat was driving his motorcycle on Highway in St. Paul around 6:00 pm Tuesday when he lost control and was thrown to the roadway.

He was taken to the hospital where he died.
