Welcome back to our adoptable animal post, this week it features a senior cat named Mr. Jingles. Mr. Jingles is a 12-year-old cat, who still has a lot to offer a family looking for a pet.

Mr. Jingles other than being a senior cat has no real health issues. My friend Michaela Tews, a volunteer at the Mower County Humane Society, sent me some more information in regards to Mr. Jingles.

"Mr. Jingles was rescued from the Austin City Pound when no one came to claim him. He is a playful and affectionate boy who would be a great addition to a cat-loving family."

Mr. Jingles is a refined cat that according to Michaela "prefers people to other pets" which means this is the kind of cat that wants to be the only pet in the home. As Mr. Jingles is 12, he probably would be better suited in a home with older kids, as he plays a "little rougher" than younger children might understand. It's nothing you should worry too much about, as Michaela says he likes to nibble when overstimulated. At our house, we have a cat like that, and it takes some getting used to as he isn't trying to hurt you when he nibbles, he just likes to play rough.

An added bonus when it comes to Mr. Jingles is that he has been microchipped!

Due to COVID-19, you'll have to schedule an appointment to see Mr. Jingles and all his friends, which you can do, here.
