This week's adoptable animal of the week is Gail, she is available immediately for adoption. Our friend and volunteer at the Mower County Humane Society Michaela Tews have more information on Gail!

Michaela tells us that Gail "is a little shy at first but warms up quickly, and she is great with other cats as well as older understanding children."

Now that summer is here, maybe your kids or grandkids are looking for some more responsibility or maybe you are looking for some companionship at home with the kids or grandkids off doing summer activities, Gail might just be the match for you.

Remember that you need an approved application before heading down to the Mower County Humane Society, get the application form here, and if Gail is the match for you and your family she is adoptable for just $50.

And I just wanted to toss in an adoption update from one of the pets we featured a few weeks ago. Midnight was recently adopted out to a new home, and it's seeing these animals getting a chance at a forever home that makes all the difference to me, and the volunteers who run these shelters. Check out Midnight's update below.

MIDNIGHT, who came to us in 2018 was adopted by this great couple today! THANK YOU for adopting!
