Hi! I’m Kelly! I have been part of the team since 2008 and have had a lot of fun in that time. Prior to that, I worked for a small town radio station and had a just for fun college radio show with friends. I’m a Faribault High School grad and hold a bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota Morris. When I’m not working, I love spending time with family and friends, walking my dog, checking out great local events, spending time outdoors, cheering for the Twins, and taking in as much live music as I can. Thanks for listening!

Would You Attend Adult Summer Camp?
Growing up, each summer a handful of friends and classmates would spend a week or two at various summer camps. I never attended a summer camp, but always had a full summer. I think both have merits, and I've never regretted not attending camp as a child. But, as an adult, there is a summer camp that sounds fun, and adult summer camp!
Minnesota Roundabout Refresher
It seems that people have very strong options on roundabouts. They are touted as being a safer alternative, but a lot of people seem to think they just bring a different set of issues. Love them or hate them, roundabouts are everywhere, and many people seem like they might benefit from a refresher.
Scam Call Rant
More and more lately it seems that my phone is ringing, but the caller ID does not register a family or friend, but rather a set of digits that I likely have never seen before, or the phrase "unknown number." Every once in a rare blue moon, it is actually a valid call and it just happens to be from a number I don't have saved in my phone, but the great majority of the time, its a scam.

Faribault Ordinance on ATVs and UTVs
In between bouts of rain, we've had a few nice days, which have people yearning to get out the toys and have some fun. If you own a four-wheeler or side-by-side, you might want to brush up on the local ordinances where you live to verify where you can take it. The Faribault Police Department had the following to say.
Music Monday April 17, 2017: Ashley McBryde
It’s Music Monday! Each week I share something I am listening to and think that you might also enjoy. It could be a tried and true favorite that you haven’t heard in forever, it could be a new release by an artist or band you already know, or it could be something I have just discovered. Stop back each week to see what is being featured!
A Race for the Young at Heart
It seems like a lot of people have recently been talking about how they don’t feel their age, they still like trying new things, and getting a little crazy. If you count yourself among the young at heart, then you’ll love this insanely fun 5K!
Downtown Business Challenge in Faribault
If you've always dreamed of opening up your own business, but have never known whether the time was right, or wished you has someone you could ask questions about how and where to start, or possibly that you could receive a little help and support as you begin the journey toward owning your own business, you're in luck. The Faribault Main Street Economic Restructuring and Organization committees h
