Things were not looking good for the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals at halftime on Friday night at Van Orsow Auditorium as they were down 26-12. They had missed by my account 19 shots from the floor in the first half.  I don't know what was said by coach Hildebrandt at half time but they looked like a different team when they came out in the second half. They erased the deficit in short order. And the lead changed hands several times. In the second overtime Damon Trump hit a couple of 3 pointers in a row to put the Cardinals ahead and they had to battle to hang on to the end. They won 61-57. Griffin Malecha hit a couple of free throws to help ice it as well.

I had Damon Trump with 17, Jack Clark 12, Alex Bongers 10, Luke Donkers 8, Avery Hunt 8, Griffin Malecha 4, Zach Van Thomme 2.

Jack Clark, Damon Trump, Luke Donkers and Griffin Malecha were our State Farm Insurance Agents of Faribault Players of the Game.

Pine Island was lead by 12 from Jacob Weber, Keegan Majerus with 12 and Josh Navratil with 10.

The Cardinals will travel to WEM on Tuesday night. That game will be on KDHL and kdhlradio.com starting about 7:15pm.
