Are you a huge Billy Joel fan? If you are, I've got good news for you about a midsummer concert you don't want to miss.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend Billy Joel will be making the home of the Minnesota Twins, Target Field, his home for a night this summer. On Friday, July 28, Joel will be making his Minnesota stadium debut.


Twins president and CEO Dave St. Peter, manager Paul Molitor and first baseman Joe Mauer hosted a news conference this morning at Target Field to to announce Joel's return to the Twin Cities. Joel’s most recent Twin Cities stop was the Target Center show he performed a couple of years ago.

Billy Joel has sold 150 million records over the course of his career, scoring 33 continuous hits in the Top 40, and is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time and the third best-selling solo artist.

American Express cardmembers can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Monday, January 16, at 10AM through next Thursday, January 19, at 10PM. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning at 10AM on Friday, January 20, through www.livenation.com.
