Buckham West Executive Director on AM Minnesota Today

Buckham West (formerly Faribault Area Senior Center) Executive Director Mona Kaiser stops by KDHL for AM Minnesota 9:30 this morning.  It's been a little over a year since they moved into their expanded space in the building connected to the Community Center and Buckham Memorial Library.

A flu shot clinic is being hosted by Buckham West today between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Remember Medicare Part D open enrollment is underway through December 7, 2019.  This is for Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Medicare Part D).  A Senior Linkage Line health insurance counselor is available at Buckham West to assist individuals with questions, who want to enroll or want to make changes to their Medicare Part D coverage during the open enrollment period.

Every Wednesday at Noon, Buckham West hosts free blood pressure checks.  The service is provided by Faribault Senior Living, Heritage House, Intrepid Home Care, Pleasant Manor/Pleasant View Estates and St. Lucas/Deaconess Towers.

There is no charge and no appointment is necessary.
