With 3:39 to go in the third quarter the Bombers had a 5 yard touchdown run by Riley  Miller.  Miller also ran in the two point conversion to make it 20-7.

The Bombers final score came with 2:11 to go in the game when Marcus Banks scored from a yard out.  The two point conversion attempt failed.

Cannon Falls dominated the game with their defense holding Lourdes to 100 total yards.  92 rushing, 8 passing.  The Eagles had 4 first downs the entire game.  The Bombers never punted and were successful converting 7 of 8 fourth downs.

Bombers Head Coach Dan Meyers told KDHL on the Cannon Falls Coaches Show Saturday morning the Eagles gave his team their toughest game of the regular season last year.  He pointed out Rochester Lourdes was able to handle his team's Triple-T offense very well.  Meyers said when watching the film from that game his staff thought they would be able to counter those Eagles adjustments with some wrinkles of their own.

Cannon Falls finished the game with 420 total yards on offense.  353 rushing and 67 passing.  Edstrom was 4 for 7 passing with a touchdown.  Cam Dicke had 2 catches for 32 yards and a score and Marcus Banks hauled in two passes for 35 yards.

Riley Keenan led the ground game with 113 yards on 22 carries.  Banks added 77 yards on 14 attempts with a score.  Miller garnered 73 yards and a TD on 12 carries.  Edstrom had 6 runs for 38 yards and two touchdowns.

Meyers said on the coach's show sponsored by Milo Peterson Ford of Kenyon the Bombers wanted to get the ball more to Dicke because they felt he would have a good day.

Following the game Meyers said Dicke was "excellent on both sides of the ball" and Riley Miller led his team in tackles with 7.

Cannon Falls has a bye week before taking on another state ranked team in Stewartville on November 7th.  It will be the Bombers homecoming game.
