In the newest episode of ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’ we invited CM Punk, former professional wrestler and star of the new horror flick Girl on the Third Floor, to prove and disprove what’s written about him on Wikipedia.

We started with Punk’s formative years, working a childhood dream job at a comic book shop called All-American Comics. “That was my first real job,” Punk shares. “I was 14 or 15 and the guy who worked there — I became really good friends with — was either supremely lazy or was doing me a favor and would be like, ‘Hey, I’ll give you comic books if you take the garbage out.’ I wound up being the manager.”

Getting into his wrestling days, Punk recalls his first match in WWE’s old development system, Ohio Valley Wrestling, when he suffered a ruptured ear drum and broken nose after being hit with an overly stiff right hand. “He had to drive me to the hospital and we had a conversation in the car where I was like, ‘Hey, if we have a problem, we can pull over right now.’ … I went into the bathroom and I set my nose myself. When I came back in the room, dude was sitting a the table. They MRI’d him — dude tore his quad punching me in the face. That’s pretty instant karma. It’s the most expensive punch thrown in Ohio Valley Wrestling history.”

As for Girl on the Third Floor, CM Punk was able to clear up a Wikipedia falsehood claiming the movie was filmed in director Travis Stevens’ actual home. The house is truly haunted, however, with Girl on the Third Floor telling a semi-autobiographical story of what actually took place in the creepy residence.
