The weather forecast for this weekend is looking pretty good so far, with mostly sunny skies and highs right around 70. Perfect fall weather for a fun day with the family at the Church of St. Patrick in Shieldsville's Fall Festival. The festivities kick off in the morning with a Polka Mass at 10AM followed by a lunch filled with a variety of delicious choices including pulled pork sandwiches, brats, hot dogs, chips, sauerkraut, baked beans, coleslaw and cookies. The St. Wenceslaus Polka Music Group, formerly known as the Revival Band, will be entertaining festivalgoers. There will plenty of activities for the kids to participate in, including a kids pedal pull and minnow races along with a country store, games and a beer garden to kick back and enjoy what promises to be a nice Sunday afternoon.

Make sure you pick up a few raffle tickets because there are $4,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, including some sweet regular-season Minnesota Wild suite tickets. The winning tickets will be pulled at 3PM, with "Must-Be-Present" attendance prizes after the raffle drawing.

There's ample parking with shuttles to the event available. Make plans now to be a part of this Sunday's Church of St. Patrick's Fall Festival in Shieldsville. If you need more information or directions go to www.spshieldsville.org or call (507) 334-6002.
