Faribault Area Chamber President on KDHL Today

Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce President/Community Marketing Director Nort Johnson stops by KDHL for AM Minnesota 9:30 this morning.  Typically when Nort visits we wing it and today will be no exception.  No set agenda of what we will discuss.  I will ask about the success of Winterfest.

The Winterfest Fireworks and Lighted Parade last Friday was fun to participate in.  I'm usually announcing parades and not in them.  It was fun to toss candy to folks along Central Avenue and this parade didn't seem to have any large gaps.  I was jogging at times behind our KDHL POWER 96 vehicle grabbing candy to toss.

We will learn more about the507connect program.  We will try to get 2019 Chair Rebecca Lippert and Chamber liason Casie Steeves on AM Minnesota next month to educate us more about the program which provides opportunities to engage with other individuals in the community both professionally and personally.

According to the Chamber website www.faribaultmn.org  the program also provides, "A platform to promote your business, yourself, and your community."
