The Faribault Falcon football team fell to Mankato East Wednesday night to finish their regular season with a 2-6 record.  Faribault played half their schedule against Class 5A teams.  Not just average 5A teams either.  Top ranked Owatonna to open their season, #9 ranked Mankato West, a good Northfield team and Rochester Mayo was no slouch either.

The Falcons gave Winona all they could handle in September at Paul Giel Field and Head Coach Ned Louis says his team would love to play the Winhawks again.  For that to happen Faribault has to travel to KM Telecom Stadium in Kasson and beat the Kasson-Mantorville Komets.  If this sounds familiar it's the same scenario as a year ago.

This year's Komet team is 4-4.  Faribault has had their problems with speedy teams and will be playing on artificial surface Saturday night.

The game will be broadcast on POWER 96 Radio, 95.9 FM and www.power96radio.com .  The best way to listen is to download the FREE POWER 96 app.  You can listen anywhere on the planet.
