Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn tells KDHL/POWER 96 the 31 year old Faribault man injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday night is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.  Jacob Kes crashed on Roberds Lake Boulevard.  The call came in at 10:56 p.m. The accident occurred the 18000 Block of Roberds Lake Boulevard in Wells Township.

Dunn says Kes was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle. The Rice County Sheriff adds the preliminary investigation indicates alcohol may have been a factor in the crash although the incident is still under investigation.

Kes was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

The Rice County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Minnesota State Patrol and the Faribault Police Department along with Faribault Fire and Rescue and North Ambulance.

I was coming back from broadcasting the Bethlehem Academy football game in Wells and turning from Highway 21 to go east on 7th Street NW when several emergency vehicles came through the intersection about that time.

Whenever I see an ambulance or medical helicopter I always say a little prayer for whomever it might be.
