Eagle Lake, MN (KROC AM News) – Four Rochester teenagers returning home from the Lourdes softball championship game in Mankato Friday ended up in the hospital after being involved in a traffic wreck.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the four were in a car that collided with another vehicle in Eagle Lake, which is near Mankato.

The State Patrol says the teens were in a car driven by 18-year-old Paige McPeak. Her passengers were identified as Julian Bretton, Oliver Dahlberg and Kathryn Hyberger. The State Patrol report indicates all four were wearing seatbelts and were taken to the Mayo Clinic hospital in Mankato for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The other driver was identified as 51-year-old Kari Lundberg of Redwood Falls, who also suffered non-life threatening injuries. The State Patrol says she failed to yield to the McPeak vehicle.

The wreck happened on Highway 14 around 5:00 PM.
