According to the complaint, Slattum sold the heroin in powder form to the victim and her husband in July of 2020. The victim and her husband ingested the heroin and fell asleep. The husband woke up the next morning and discovered his wife unresponsive and called 911.

First responders were unable to revive the victim.

An autopsy “determined the manner of death to be accidental and the cause of death to be “mixed drug toxicity (heroin, fentanyl, and acetyl fentanyl).”

Slattum will be credited for 521 days served.
