LOCAL. That is what we strive to be, all the time. Now with everyone on their own islands, or so it feels, with social distancing we, Townsquare Media Faribault/Owatonna, as an on-air staff and team decided to talk with those in our communities and listening areas about what YOU need to really know about COVID-19/Coronavirus.

Thursday was an especially hard day for residents in Rice County as it was determined that someone living in our community had been confirmed to have the virus.

Carly Ross talked to a doctor from Allina Clinic, Gordy Kosfeld talked to Rice County's Public Health Department, Roy Koenig talked with various civic leaders in the Owatonna and Steele County area, and KDHL Farm Director Jerry Groskreutz talked to the pork producers about how COVID-19 is affecting producers and consumers alike.

We hope you come away from this program with more knowledge about the virus, less anxiety, and an overwhelming sense that we are ALL in this together and we WILL get through this as a community.
