An early morning crash on Highway 3 in Dundas sent a Northfield woman to the hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries. The two-vehicle crash was reported at 5:50 Tuesday morning. 

According to the State Patrol Incident website, at 5:50 Tuesday morning a 2013 Toyota Corolla, driven by 46-year-old Rocio Sandoval of Northfield, was traveling southbound on Highway 3. The report states that Sandoval "failed to stop at a flashing red light and struck a Dodge Caravan that was proceeding eastbound on Hester Avenue from the intersection."

The driver of the Caravan a 55-year-old Dundas woman was uninjured in the crash.

Sandoval was transported to the Northfield hospital with what was believed non-life-threatening injuries.

Road conditions at the time of the crash were reported to be dry.

Also responding to the crash were the Northfield Police Department, Rice County Sheriff's Office, and Northfield Ambulance.
